Location and date: The workshop will be held from 10 to 12 May 2009 by Agricultural Biotechnology Research Institute of Iran (ABRII) and its Co-organizers at the Conference Halls Complex of the Seed and Plant Improvement Institute, in Karaj, Iran (Islamic Republic). |

Participants: 50 candidates will be selected among applicants based on their qualifications for participating in the workshop. The selection of the candidates will be on a competitive basis and only outstanding applicants will be selected. The participants should have expertise/education in one of the related fields (plant breeding, plant pathology, molecular markers and molecular biology). Applicants should also be fluent in English. |
